Hi everyone,

i installed f2post and is working, but i need to fetch pages and to get articles in unpublished status, not in published status, as seems to be the only status to configure... is it possible?

And then, how is the command to give to cronjob in order to launch feed2post?

feed2post gathers the posts in an unpublished status as a security measure, to allow you a small ammount of time to review what'll be published, you can set it as low as 2 minutes or higher if you need so. after that period of time, the content will be published automatically.

The cronjob command depends on your hosting server, it varies from hosting to hosting, but what's certain is that you need to have cronjob software installed and configured, once you have that, you can ask your support about how to call a php file (cronjob.php) using the cronjob software at your hosting.

thank you for kind reply and for useful informations...

As regards for unpublished status i mean exactly the unpublished status, not the delay in pubblication (in backend joomla administration, adding articles you can choose to add in published or unpublished status, by clicking a flag... that is different from adding article in published status but with a delay).

I need that because i want to add articles from pages i automatically fetch, but i want to choice wich article to publish (click on publish button) and wich not (select and cancel)...

Yes, you have been more clear now, ok, that can be done on the code, in order to do so, open the file admin.feedpost.php and seek for the line with

Code:

$row->state = 1;

Inside the function saveItem, change the value on the right side of the = sign to 0 (zero) and that will cause the posted elements to be unpublished when stored, you'll get all the items in the content admin, but none shown on the page. Best regards, Mario

I just installed 1.81 new version of F2P, but now i can't find the row wot the modification i made before (as you indicated)... am i a drunk?
