Just a thought but you could enable show iFrame for postings and then edit the following file:

components/com_feedpost/templates/linkshow.tpl

Strip out the iFrame reference for the new window and instead use the same call as above but use {url} for the link.

I haven't time to try this out at the moment as I am not at home in order to edit the site. Do post the code if you get it working.
